  1. It still boggles my mind that anyone would think that skin colour is a major factor in determining somebody’s worth.

    Like, there is no white race. Pretty well nobody is actually white except for maybe a few Scandinavians. I myself am sort of an orangey-pink.

    If you lined everybody in the world up by colour, you wouldn’t be able to find a true skin-colour dividing line. In fact there wouldn’t be one line, it would be sort of 3D.

    It’s like making a big deal out of gender preference. I am heterosexual. It’s not something that I am proud of. It’s not like I had to work at it.

    How we treat others? Now that’s worth taking a stand upon.

  2. Do you really think there is a “post-racial America?” It’s still alive. It is just hidden better. I’m not black but I see the racism and it is alive and well.
